Calamancina is a small bay where fishermen would shelter if they could not reach the port of San Vito lo Capo during storms. Calamancina is not crowded at all so it’s easy to spend hours relaxing and watching the sunset from there.  It’s easy to get to Calamancina from San Vito lo Capo, it takes only 30 minutes by foot.

Walk a further 10 minutes from Calamancina and you will reach the Cave of the Horses, a massive cave next to the sea, where people lived ten-thousand years ago. You can still see some ancient graffiti inside!
